York junior TIM HARTUNG (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) was selected as the CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after winning the individual title at the Christopher Newport Invitational. It was Hartung’s second individual win of the season and helped the Spartans finish fourth in the team standings.

St. Mary’s senior DAN SWAIN (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) was selected as the CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Swain crossed the finish line at the Goucher Invitational 4th overall at 27:48, leading the Seahawks to a 3rd place finish.

York junior TIM HARTUNG (Mohnton, Pa./ Governor Mifflin) was selected as the CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after he captured individual honors with a first-place finish at the Frostburg State Invitational with a time of 27:49.70. Hartung helped the Spartans capture the team title in the event.

Salisbury freshman KYLE TOCKMAN (Olney, Md./Sherwood) was selected as the CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after finishing as the Gulls’ top runner at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. His 15th-place finish (out of 293 runners) helped SU place eighth in the team standings, and his time of 25:27.60 on the 8K course was more than a minute faster than his first collegiate race two weeks ago.

Swain was the first runner across the finish line for the first time in his career, covering W&L’s course in 28:57.00.
