York Senior Tim Hartung Earns All-America Honors at NCAA Cross Country Championships for Second Straight Year

York senior standout Tim Hartung concluded his stellar cross country career on Saturday with his second straight All-America finish, claiming 24th in a field of 275 competitors at the 8k NCAA Men's Cross Country Championship course in Hanover, Ind. 

Hartung, a three-time CAC individual chamion and two-time CAC Athlete of the Year, finishes his career as a three-time NCAA qualifier, two-time All-American, and the only All-American in York program history. He completed the course in 25:12.3. 

On the women's side, York's Jess Miller crossed the line in 140th out of 280 runners in the 6k event. Miller, the CAC runner-up and 18th-place finisher at the Mideast Regional, was the first female runner in YCP history to compete in the national meet, and the first CAC female since 2008.
