Christopher Newport Junior Grayson Reid Selected as CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Christopher Newport junior Grayson Reid was selected as the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after winning the CNU Invitational with a time of 25:21. That clocking in the 8k marked the fastest by any competitor at the meet, beating the 18 Division I competitors as well as all 40 runners in the non-Division I portion of the race. Guided by Reid's efforts, the Captains won the meet with a perfect score of 15.
Salisbury Senior Connor Hesselbirg Secures Second CAC Men's Cross Country Weekly Award of 2016

Salisbury senior Connor Hesselbirg was named the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after finishing sixth at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday. Hesselbirg posted a time of 25:55 to lead all CAC runners and help the Sea Gulls place third in the team standings in the 8k race.

Salisbury freshman Branson Oduor was awarded as the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after capturing the individual title at the 28th Annual Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday. Branson finished with a time of 25:48.74 in the 8k race with an average mile time of 5:11.6.

Mary Washington sophomore Kyle Pfohl was honored as the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after leading all college division runners with a first-place finish at the William & Mary Invitational on Friday. Pfohl crossed the line with a time of 19:53.3 in the 6k, helping the Eagles to a second-place team finish.
Frostburg State Sophomore Robert Romano Named CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Frostburg State sophomore Robert Romano collected CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors after capturing the individual title at the Westmoreland Invitational for the second straight year. Romano crossed the line in 17:16.4 to claim first place, leading the Bobcats to the team crown. Frostburg State totaled 21 points with six runners inside the top 10.
