CAC -- Southern Virginia senior Mike Myers secured CAC Runner of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors to highlight the 2019 CAC Men's Cross Country Postseason Awards. 

Myers concluded his historic senior season at the NCAA Championships after he placed 98th overall. He became the first SVU Knight athlete to compete at NCAAs after winning the men's programs first individual CAC title a few weeks prior. Myers not only excels as a runner, but also on campus where he is an exceptional Business Management & Leadership student along with holding the position of student-body president. 

York's Isaac Valderrabano took home Rookie of the Year honors as the top newcomer at the meet. Valderrabano, who finished in fifth place to also claim All-CAC first team recognition, is the fifth Spartan to win top rookie accolades and first since Carus Cookman in 2012. 

York head coach Stephen LoBianco and his staff was honored by his peers as the CAC Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Spartans to their second straight and fifth overall CAC crown. It marks the third COY award for LoBianco, who also garnered the award in 2013 and 2018.
