MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Smith placed third among 222 runners to lead the Spartans to the team championship at the Lock Haven Open on Saturday afternoon. Smith cloked in with a time of 25.48.1, just four seconds out of a runner-up finish. The third-place finish is the best of Smith's Spartan career. Smith and the Spartans defeated a number of Division II foes en route to the team title including Lock Haven, West Chester, Bloomsburg, Slippery Rock, and Mansfield. 

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY HONOR ROLL

Robert Romano | Frostburg State | Sr.
Romano paced the field at the Messiah Invitational by completing the 8K course with a time of 27:38.10. It was his second victory of the season.

J.P. Burklow | Mary Washington | Sr.
Burklow was Mary Washington's top finisher in the 6K race at the Shenandoah University Hornet Harrier on Saturday in Winchester, Va. Burklow finished second overall, with a time of 19:49, leading the Eagles to first place in the team standings for the event.

Tyler Wilson | St. Mary's | Fr.
Wilson finished 30th of 120 runners with a time of 21:15.8 at the Shenandoah University Hornet Harrier.

Mike Myers | Southern Virginia | Jr.
Myers won the Shenandoah Commonwealth Challenge with a time of 26:21.3 in a field of 58 runners. 

Conner Masteran | Salisbury | Sr.
Masteran took 10th and was the top Division III finisher at Kutztown Division II/III Challenge in a time of 26:54.
