Salisbury Wins 2007 CAC Softball Tournament Championship
Top-seeded Salisbury University won the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) softball tournament championship on Sunday afternoon. The Sea Gulls defeated third-seeded Catholic University, 12-11, in nine innings in the championship contest to claim their 12th consecutive conference title. Salisbury will also be making their 11th consecutive trip to the upcoming NCAA tournament which will begin with regional play on May 10.
