Salisbury swept Frostburg State on Monday to conclude the CAC softball regular season and finalize the matchups for the upcoming CAC Tournament, set to begin later this week. No. 1 Mary Washington and No. 2 Christopher Newport will host a pair of three-team pods in Fredericksburg and Newport News on Apr. 27-28.

UPDATE: Mary Washington and Christopher Newport will now be hosting games on Saturday and Sunday due to weather concerns for Friday. 

In Fredericksburg, Va., top-seeded Mary Washington will host No. 4 York (Pa.) and No. 6 Southern Virginia. The Eagles will meet No. 6 Southern Virginia in the opening game at noon on Saturday. 

In Newport News, Va., second-seeded Christopher Newport will welcome No. 3 Salisbury and No. 5 Frostburg State to Captains Park. The Captains will take on the Bobcats in the first game of the double-elimination pod at noon on Saturday. 

The winners of each of the pods will advance to a best-of-three championship series May 3-4 at the field of the highest remaining seed. The complete tournament schedule is below:
