The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 11th week of the 2025 softball season.  Christopher Newport's Candace Slaw was named C2C Player of the Week, while the Captains Jamie Martin earned C2C Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Candace Slaw, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport sophomore Candace Slaw had three hits in ten at bats in a Christopher Newport doubleheader sweep on Saturday at Salisbury. Slaw posted a double and an RBI in the second game, and singled and scored a run in the 13-inning marathon first game of the twin bill.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Jamie Martin, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport senior Jamie Martin pitched all 13 innings of a CNU marathon victory over Salisbury on Saturday. Martin did not allow an earned run while striking out seven, and scattered seven hits over the 13-inning battle. She wiggled out of a no-out, bases loaded jam in the eighth inning and held off the Sea Gulls to improve to 15-2 on the season.
