The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 13th week of the 2023-24 track and field season. UC Santa Cruz's Eric Anderson earned C2C Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors, while Salisbury's Logan Kelsch was tabbed C2C Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Eric Anderson, UC Santa Cruz

At the Payton Jordan Invite at Stanford, Anderson lowered his own school record in the 1,500-meters by 2.8 seconds, finishing second overall in 3:45.77. The performance ranks third overall in Division III.

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Logan Kelsch, Salisbury

Logan Kelsch stood tall among elite competition in the discus throw at the 128th Penn Relays, qualifying for the finals in the field of 26 and ultimately finishing eighth at 50.03m (164-1). Kelsch was the lone Division III qualifier in a final nine that featured six Division I throwers and a pair from Division II.

TRACK: Kai Smith, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Kai Smith ran in both of Salisbury's relays at the 128th Penn Relays. He anchored SU's winning 4x100 relay team, passing two competitors during his leg to break the tape in a time of 41.67 seconds. In the 4x400 relay, he ran the first leg of SU's third-place squad that put up a time of 3:16.95.
