Nine Capital Athletic Conference basketball players were named to the D3hoops.com all-region teams, headed by Mary Washington senior post player Liz Hickey, who was named the Atlantic Region Women's Player of the Year.

Hickey was one of four CAC players named to the first-team All-Region squad.  Kathleen Brown of Marymount joined Hickey on the women's Atlantic Region team while York senior Chad McGowan and Wesley junior Rashawn Johnson were first-team picks on the men's Middle Atlantic Region.

York senior Kristen Daly earned second-team all-region on the women's team, and there were four players who earned third-team all-region, including Keli Ward of York and Ashton Mitchell of Mary Washington on the women's side as well as Tyson Lesesne of St. Mary's and Justin Baker of Mary Washington on the men's all-region team.
