Three CAC women's basketball senior standouts added to their list of postseason awards on Thursday, as Christopher Newport's Tia Perry, Marymount's Katelyn Fischer and York's Brittany Hicks earned Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America Honorable Mention honors. 

Fischer and Hicks both earned first team All-Region recognition from D3hoops.com earlier in the week, while Perry landed on the D3hoops.com second team. 

A two-time CAC Player of the Year and a 2014 first team all-conference selection for the third-straight season, Fischer averaged 15.5 points, 6.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 46.5 percent from the floor, 39.1% from three-point range and 83.2 percent from the free throw line.  She led the CAC in assists, was second in free throw shooting, third in three-point shooting and assist to turnover ratio, eighth in scoring and ninth in steals.  On the national stage Fischer ranked eighth in assists per game, 35th in A:TO ratio and 38th in three-point shooting.  For her career, Fischer set the CAC record for career three-pointers made and set Marymount records for career assists, three-pointers, three-point shooting and free throw shooting.  She is also tied for third place overall at MU in scoring and sixth in steals.  

The CAC Player of the Year, Hicks led York to a 26-3 record, the CAC Championship and a NCAA Tournament second round appearance. She averaged 17.3 points and 10.6 rebounds per game while shooting 50.8% from the floor, 38.9% from three and 76.5% from the free throw line. She also dished out 36 assists, blocked 17 shots and collected 26 steals in her 29 games. A three-time All-CAC selection, Hicks finished her career with 1,589 points in 110 games, good for an average of 14.4 points. She collected 990 rebounds and averaged 9.0 boards per game. Hicks owns the school and conference record for made free throws as she concluded her career with 530 made free throws in 712 attempts. Hicks ended her career fourth in school history in points, third in games played, first in free throws made, and second in rebounding. She finished her career with a school-record 42 double doubles including 16 this season.

Perry, a first-team all-star in her first season in the CAC, led the Captains to a 24-6 overall record, second place in both the regular season and post-season tournament, and a pair of NCAA Tournament wins and a trip to the Sweet 16.  The 11th-leading scorer in CNU women's basketball history, Perry ranked second on the team this year with a 15.4 scoring average and added 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.  Perry closed out her career with with 1,279 points and 656 rebounds.
