Salisbury's Anna Hackett Named First Team All-America by D3hoops.com

A few days after being named honorable mention All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, senior point guard Anna Hackett of the No. 11 Salisbury women's basketball team earned another national accolade, this time named a first-team All-American by D3hoops.com.

Hackett was recognized as the CAC Player of the Year this season, while earning a spot on the league's all-star team each year on the court. She combined that with nine Player of the Week accolades between the CAC and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference, before earning a spot on the CAC's Silver Anniversary team.

The Germantown, Md. native has received honors from D3hoops.com in the past, most recently earning the region's Player of the Year award this season. The All-American status is the first in her career, and the first for the program in 15 years.

Hackett is joined on the first team by University of St. Thomas' Jenna Dockter, Thomas More College's Sydney Moss, Montclair State University's Melissa Tobie, and Wisconsin Lutheran College's Kristen Schulz.
