Marymount sophomore Nicole Viscuso was picked as the CAC Player of the Week after guiding the Saints to a perfect 2-0 record to open conference play with averages of 14.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while shooting 59.1% from the field. She opened the week with her third double-double of the year against Southern Virginia with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Viscuso's biggest performance of the week came in a 49-44 victory over Christopher Newport, as she totaled a game-high 19 points on 72.7% (8-for-11) shooting and also grabbed seven boards.

In the WBCA/USA TODAY Dec. 1 Coaches' Poll, Mary Washington (5), Salisbury (4) and Christopher Newport (2) each received votes ... CNU received 70 votes in the D3hoops.com Week 1 National Rankings, while Mary Washington (18), Salisbury (14), and York (3) were also among those receiving votes ... Mary Washington (6-0, 2-0 CAC) and York (6-0, 2-0 CAC) remain unbeaten this season, while Marymount and Salisbury are also 2-0 in conference play ... Senior guard Megan Green helped keep Mary Washington undefeated this week with CAC wins over St. Mary's and Penn State Harrisburg. She had four points, seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals against the Seahawks, and then had 15 points, seven assists, and three rebounds as the Eagles topped Penn State Harrisburg. She ranks among national leaders in assists per game. Sophomore Kendall Parker had 21 points on Saturday ... Mary McDonagh led Salisbury to an undefeated week of action and wins over CNU and Frostburg State. Against CNU, McDonagh posted nine points, three assists, and two rebounds to help the Gulls earn a 54-48 win over the Captains. In a 69-60 win over Frostburg State, McDonagh tallied a career-high 21 points, including shooting 6-for-6 from long range, and also notched four assists and three rebounds ... Nina Haller helped St. Mary's to its first CAC win with her third double-double of the season. Haller started the week with a game-best 10 rebounds in a CAC-opening loss at Mary Washington. She then notched 10 points and game-high 13 boards to lead the Seahawks to a win over Wesley ... Wesley's Tiyanna Gibbs was the Wolverines' top scorer this week, netting 11 points against York and 12 against St. Mary's. The guard also pulled in 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game ... Sam Hruz led York to a pair of CAC wins and helped the Spartans remain unbeaten with a pair of double-doubles. For the week, Hruz averaged 12.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in 28.5 minutes per game. For the year, Hruz is averaging 15 points. 9.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.1 blocked shots and 2.6 steals per game.
