St. Mary's junior Katie Robey earned CAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.0 steals and 3.5 assists per game in a 2-0 week, keeping the Seahawks alive in the playoff chase. Robey shot 50% from the field (14-for-28) and 75% (9-for-12) from the free throw line in wins over Salisbury and Southern Virginia. In a 61-58 victory against Salisbury on Wednesday, Robey poured in career-bests of 25 points, eight field goals (8-for-12), and seven free throws (7-for-8) as the Seahawks rallied for the win in the final 37 seconds. She scored seven points in the final five minutes of the second half, including a key defensive rebound and a pair of free throws with four ticks on the clock to seal the win. At Southern Virginia on Saturday, Robey nearly posted a triple-double with 15 points, nine boards and a career-high eight steals to go along with three assists in a 67-65 victory.

Christopher Newport and Marymount are tied atop the CAC standings at 15-1 and have secured first-round byes in the CAC Tournament. With two games left in the regular season, Mary Washington (12-4) and York (11-5) have clinched first-round home games, while Salisbury (8-8) has also clinched a playoff berth ... Christopher Newport is ranked No. 11 in the D3hoops.com and No. 9 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) rankings, while Marymount is ranked No. 23 in the D3hoops.com rankings and No. 24 by the WBCA ... CNU senior Makenzie Fancher scored a career-high 22 points in a come-from-behind win at Penn State Harrisburg, including a career-high seven three-pointers. She notched her seventh triple with less than a minute to go in regulation to pull CNU back within two points before also earning a pivotal steal leading to the go-ahead score with less than 15 seconds remaining ... Frostburg State senior Adjowa Pinkrah led the Bobcats in scoring with 10 points in a loss at Marymount ... Senior Kendall Parker led Mary Washington to a pair of wins this week on the road, shooting 58.8% from the floor and surpassing the 1,000 point plateau. In a 75-67 win at Frostburg, she scored 16 points on 4-of-10 shooting, making 3-of-5 three pointers and 5-of-6 free throws. She surpassed 1,000 points in an 86-44 win at Wesley, making 6-of-7 shots, including 4-of-5 from behind the three point arc. She averaged 16 points per game in 16 minutes per game. She becomes the 20th player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points ...Marymount senior Nicole Viscuso put up two strong performances to guide the Saints to a 2-0 week in league play, sealing up a first-round bye in the tournament at 15-1. She averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks while shooting 56.5 percent from the floor. Her biggest game came against Wesley, knocking in a game-high 23 points on 9-for-14 shooting (64.3 percent), while missing a double-double by two with eight rebounds, and adding a game-high six assists, three steals and a block ... Penn State Harrisburg senior Tessa Dolce record two double-doubles on the week against top CAC foes York and Christopher Newport. In Thursday's match up against York, Dolce scored 23 points while gathering 14 rebounds. She followed that up with 22 points and 10 rebounds in the Lions' matchup with Christopher Newport ... Salisbury junior Kaylyn French averaged 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game for the Sea Gulls last week. French recorded her fifth double-double of the season in a 64-61 win over York with 10 points and 11 rebounds to go along with three steals and a block. She poured in 18 points on 46.2% shooting against St. Mary's, adding nine rebounds and four steals ... Southern Virginia freshman Katie Garrish was the only Knight in double digits at CNU with 19 points, and set a Freeman Center with eight blocks. Her eight blocks are a single-game high among CAC players this season. Garrish also recorded a double-double in ta wo-point loss to St. Mary's. Garrish averages a double-double this season and leads the team in ppg (14.8), rpg (10.8), fg% (50.7) ... Tiyanna Gibbs netted a pair of games in double figures for Wesley. Gibbs totaled 11 points against Marymount and 16 points against Mary Washington ... York senior Sam Mocniak averaged 15.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while shooting 48% from the floor and 58.3% from three-point range in a 1-1 week for the Spartans. In Thursday's win at Penn State Harrisburg, Mocniak tallied a career-high 24 points while she also pulled in a career-high 12 rebounds for her first double-double.
