2018 CAC Women's Basketball Tournament Bracket

Marymount clinched the CAC women's basketball regular season title and the top seed in the CAC Tournament for the second time in the last three seasons with a 49-36 victory at Mary Washington. The Saints (17-1 CAC) posted the first one-less regular season since Salisbury accomplished the feat in 2014-15. 

Marymount and Christopher Newport entered Saturday's regular season finales deadlocked atop the CAC standings, but Marymount earned the No. 1 by virtue of its victory over UMW and CNU's 87-85 loss to York. The Captains (16-2) will be the No. 2 seed in the CAC Tournament and host a semifinal next Thursday. 

York's victory at CNU boosted the Spartans (13-5) into the No. 3 seed. York will host No. 6 Frostburg State (8-10) in Tuesday's first round at 7 p.m. The Bobcats defeated Wesley 77-71 in their regular season finale. 

Tuesday's other first round matchup will feature No. 4 Mary Washington (12-6) hosting No. 5 Salisbury (10-8) as the first game of a doubleheader at 6 p.m. in Fredericksburg. Salisbury concluded its regular season with a 86-69 home triumph over Southern Virginia.

First Round - Tuesday, Feb. 20 
Game 1: at #5 Salisbury at #4 Mary Washington, 6 p.m. 
Game 2: at #6 Frostburg State at #3 York, 7 p.m. 
Note - #1 Marymount & #2 Christopher Newport earn first-round byes

Semifinal Round - Thursday, Feb. 22 
Game 3: Game 1 Winner at #1 Marymount, 7 p.m.
Game 4: Game 2 Winner at #2 Christopher Newport, 6 p.m. 

Championship - Saturday, Feb. 24
Game 5: Game 3 Winner vs. Game 4 Winner (at highest remaining seed)
