FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Frostburg State junior guard Victoria Diggs was named Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 3, 2018.

Frostburg State sunior Victoria Diggs scored 25 points and led Frostburg to a 56-52 win over Juniata in their only action of the week. Diggs went 9-of-13 from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc shooting 69.2 percent in the victory. She also recorded three steals and two assists in the victory.

York's Kayla Ferris led the Spartans to a 1-1 week as York split their two non-conference games for the week. Ferris began her week with 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in the home loss to Elizabethtown. She followed that with 20 points, four rebounds, four assists, and a career-high eight steals in the road win at Eastern. Ferris was 9-for-12 from the floor and 1-for-2 from three in the victory. For the week, Ferris averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 4.5 steals per game as she shot 63.6% from the floor and 71.4% from three...Salisbury's Kaylee Otlowski recorded a double double in Salisbury's win over St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday afternoon, pulling down 15 rebounds and scoring 11 points. In two game over the past week, she has 15 points, 20 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block...Southern Virginia's Katie Garrish collected her third double-double of the season on the road at Averett. 12 and five in huge blowout over the weekend...Mary Washington's Jordan Pamlanye led Mary Washington to a pair of wins this week, scoring 23 points in an 83-75 win at NC Wesleyan and adding 10 in a 57-50 win at Meredith. She hauled in five rebounds in each contest, and shot 72.2% from the floor for the week...Christopher Newport's Kiana Kirkland averaged 18 points this week as the Captains went 1-1 in a pair of non-conference games ... Scored 15 in 22 minutes on the road at Bridgewater before scoring a career-high 21 points at home against nationally-ranked Messiah ...
