Southern Virginia freshman Katie Garrish collected CAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading the Knights to a 2-0 week with averages of 22.5 points, 14.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per contest while shooting 57.6% (19-of-33) from the floor. She tallied double-doubles in both contests, upping her season total to 12 double-doubles. Garrish began the week with 19 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks in a 79-59 road win at Frostburg State, before closing out the week with a season-high-tying 26 points along with 14 boards, four blocks and two steals in a 78-67 home triumph over Wesley. Garrish leads the CAC in scoring (15.6 PPG), rebounding (11.9 RPG) and blocked shots (3.1 BPG) this season.
