York's Jordan Koller Collects CAC Women's Golfer of the Week Accolades

CAC -- The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) has announced its weekly awards following the second week of the 2019-20 women's golf campaign. York sophomore Jordan Koller claimed CAC Women's Golfer of the Week honors after leading the Spartans to a pair of victories to open the year.


GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Jordan Koller - York (Pa.)

York sophomore Jordan Koller led the Spartans to a pair of season-opening tournament victories this past week. The Spartans opened the week by winning the Gettysburg Fall Invitational on Sunday afternoon. Koller was the top Spartan finisher as she placed second of 46 golfers with a two-day total of 154. Koller shot a 76 in the opening round followed by a 78 on Sunday. The Spartans then recorded a win at the Bridgewater Invitational, winning the tournament by 19 strokes. Koller shot a two-day total of 155 as she fired a 76 on Monday followed by a 79 on Tuesday to finish fifth. For her career, Koller now has seven top five finishes in her 11 career events.

LEAGUE NOTES

Shelby VanAusdal led Southern Virginia at the Bridgewater Fall Invitational after carding a two-round score of 167. Her first round score of 80 becomes a new program best in the Division III era.
