2007 CAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament Seedings Released

The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team, ranked second in the country with a 15-1 overall record, will enter the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) women's lacrosse tournament as the number one seed. The Sea Gulls will be searching for their fifth consecutive conference title when they open tournament play on Sunday afternoon by hosting eighth-seeded Marymount (Va.). The University of Mary Washington claimed the number two seed in the tournament and will face seventh-seeded Villa Julie. Catholic University and Goucher College secured the number three and four seeds, respectively. The Cardinals will host York (Pa.) in the opening round of the tournament while the Gophers will play host to St. Mary's (Md.) in the final first round match-up. All opening round contests will be played on Sunday, April 22, at the sites of the four top seeds.
