Six CAC Women's Lacrosse Players Named to IWLCA All-America Team

Six women's lacrosse student-athletes have been honored as All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Assocation (IWLCA), announced Monday.

Four were named First Team All-America by the IWLCA, including three from CAC Champion and national finalist Salisbury. Landing on the squad for the Sea Gulls were junior midfielder Bethany Baer, junior defender Laura Maskell and senior goalkeeper Ashton Wheatley. Also earning first team accolades was Mary Washington senior attack Jenna Petrucelli, the CAC Player of the Year.

On the second team, a pair of York seniors - attack Erica Mulford and goakeeper Ashley Smith - were awarded as All-Americans.
