Salisbury's Kelleher, King Earn ECAC All-South Women's Lacrosse Honors

The Eastern College Athletic Conference has named Kieran Kelleher and Dana King from the Salisbury University women's lacrosse team to its 2017 Division III All-ECAC South Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Kelleher and King, who were both named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference First Team, earned the All-ECAC second team nod adding to an already impressive 2017 campaign.

Kelleher, who earns her first ECAC honor following another strong defensive showing for the Sea Gulls, leads the team in ground balls with 26, and also in caused turnovers with 19. Kelleher, an Ellicott City, Maryland native has been a proven leader and backbone of the Salisbury defensive line over the years, starting in every game this year for the maroon and gold.

King, a Lusby, Maryland native also earns her first career All-ECAC honor following a career-high 59 points this season for the Sea Gulls. King has been a pivotal piece in Salisbury's offensive puzzle this year starting in every game for the Gulls while notching an impressive 33 goals, good for second on the team, and 26 assists.
