Salisbury and York Knocked Out in NCAA Women's Lacrosse Quarterfinals
The 2017 women's lacrosse campaigns of Salisbury and York came to a close on Sunday afternoon as both the Sea Gulls and Spartans were knocked out of the NCAA Tournament in the quarterfinal round.
Ninth-ranked Salisbury fell to seventh-ranked Gettysburg 10-2 in Gettysburg, Pa., while 11th-ranked York was defeated by 10th-ranked Trinity (Conn.) 10-5 in Hartford, Conn.
Gettysburg and Trinity will square off in the national semifinals on Saturday in Salem, Va., with Washington & Lee and TCNJ set to meet in the other semifinal.
