Nine from CAC Earn IWLCA All-America Honors

Nine CAC women's lacrosse players have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America Team, announced Wednesday. Salisbury led the way with four selections, York landed three on the squad, and Mary Washington earned two spots. 

Mary Washington senior defender Kirsten Littlefield earned All-America honors for the third straight season, collecting first-team honors for the second year in a row. UMW junior attacker Mackenzie Maguire secured second team accolades for the Eagles. 

York junior defender Nicole Clauter secured first team accolades for the second year in a row, while sophomore attacker Meghan Fox also earned first-team laurels for the Spartans. York sophomore midfielder Devin Hursey claimed third-team accolades. 

Salisbury's quartet of All-Americans was led by senior midfielder Allie Hyson and senior attacker Krissy Murphy, who each landed on the first team. Senior goalkeeper Gianna Falcone was named to the second team and junior defender Martha Hutzell grabbed third team recognition for SU.
