2007 Capital Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Team

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD - York (Pa.), the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament champion, placed six athletes on the 2007 All-CAC women's soccer teams as released today by the conference office. The Spartans had three players selected to the first team and three selections on the second team. The University of Mary Washington had five players total on both teams with three first team selections and two second team selections. Salisbury University, the 2007 CAC tournament runner-up, finished with four players total on the teams; three on the first team and one on the second team.

Mary Washington freshman defender Sarah Tryon was chosen as the Rookie of the Year, while Salisbury's senior forward Kate Weaver was selected as the Player of the Year. After leading her team to the CAC conference title for the first time in program history, head coach Vicki Sterner of York (Pa.) was chosen by her peers as the 2007 CAC Coach of the Year.
