Frostburg State sophomore forward ADRIA GRAHAM (Grantsville, Md./Northern Garrett) was named the CAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while Salisbury freshman goalie MICHELLE CONRAD (St. James, N.Y./Smithtown East) was selected for the second-straight week as the CAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. SPECIAL MENTION: Stevenson senior forward STEPHANIE EYLER (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) scored a hat trick Saturday at Hood to break the CAC career scoring record. Eyler, who has 16 career multi-goal games, raised her total to 56 career goals - two more than Goucher’s Sarah Weaver (1994-97).

Mary Washington sophomore forward TINA RADER (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) was named the CAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while St. Mary’s sophomore goal keeper KELSEY WIRTZ (Parkton, Md./Hereford) was selected as the CAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 6, 2011. Rader scored four goals, all in the second half, of UMW’s 6-0 win over Eastern Mennonite Monday. Her scoring outburst included three goals in a span of 81 seconds, nearly breaking an NCAA Division III record for the fastest hat trick. Wirtz, the 2010 CAC Rookie of the Year, recorded 11 saves on 18 shots (nine in each game) to earn a pair of shutout victories to open the season. It’s the first time since 2008 that the Seahawks opened the season with a 2-0 record.
