Frostburg State Junior Adria Graham Named ECAC South Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player Of The Year
Frostburg State University women's soccer junior forward Adria Graham
has notched her third postseason award of the week after earning
NSCAA All-American and All-Region honors on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Late Thursday afternoon, Graham was named the 2012 ECAC Division
III South Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Year and well
as being selected as an ECAC All-Star after a stellar season for
the Bobcats.
Graham is quickly becoming one of FSU's most decorated women's
soccer players and shares the Player of the Year honor with Hannah
Kronick of Johns Hopkins.
Graham, a two-time ECAC All-Star, became the first NSCAA
All-American in the history of the women's soccer program on
Tuesday. She led the Capital Athletic Conference and finished 11th
in the nation with 54 points behind a CAC best 23 goals and eight
assists. Her 23 goals are good for fifth in a single-season while
her 54 points tie her for fourth.
The ECAC South Player of the Year honor and All-Star selection are
just two awards on a quickly growing list since the close of the
2012 season. She has garnered NSCAA All-Region honors, was named
the CAC Player of the Year and selected to the All-CAC First Team.
Graham was also named a Capital One Academic All-American after
carrying a perfect 4.00 G.P.A while majoring in athletic
training.
Graham is the sixth ECAC All-Star selection and second ECAC
Offensive Player of the Year for the Bobcats since 2009.
Frostburg State finished the season 14-4-2 overall, earned its
first CAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
