Wesley Women's Soccer Falls to Arcadia in ECAC First Round
The Wesley women's soccer team fell at Arcadia, 5-0, in the opening round of the ECAC South Championship on Wednesday evening. The seventh-seeded Wolverines, who were playing in their first-ever postseason tournament, finish the season at 10-7-1 overall while the second-seeded Knights move to 16-6 and advance to the semifinal round.
Finishing with 10 victories on the season, the Wolverines had their best season since 2007, when they went 12-8-1 and advanced to the CAC semifinals. The 2007 season was also Wesley's first year in the CAC.
Wesley freshman goalkeeper Nasia Denegal totaled 18 saves, one off her season-high.
