NCAA Women's Soccer Bracket

Christopher Newport fell to 12th-ranked Johns Hopkins 4-0 in the second round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament on Sunday evening in Baltimore, Md.

After picking up the program's first NCAA Tournament win since 2004, the Captains wrapped up their season on a chilly night in Baltimore with a record-breaking overall record of 17-3-1. CNU secured its first-ever CAC championship this season.

For the first time in program history, the Captains won 17 games, and finished with the best winning percentage in the 20 year history of the program (.833). A 3-2 win over nationally-ranked Rowan in the first round marked the first win in the postseason since 2004, and only the second appearance in which the Captains' advanced.
