NCAA Women's Soccer Bracket

CAC champion Christopher Newport will square off against Rowan in the opening round of the 2016 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship in a neutral site matchup on the campus of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md.

The Captains (16-2-1) will take on the Profs (16-1-2) on Saturday, Nov. 12, while the host Blue Jays (15-2-2), winners of the Centennial Conference, will host Western Connecticut State (15-5-2) in the other half of the four-team pod, with the winners advancing to play in the NCAA Second Round on Sunday.

All four schools captured their conference championship and subsequent automatic qualifying berth into the NCAA Tournament in 2016. Western Connecticut State picked up their ninth Little East title, while Rowan captured the New Jersey Athletic Conference's title for the second straight year. CNU is coming off the program's first Capital Athletic Conference championship, and will be making the team's ninth NCAA Tournament appearance.
