Mary Washington Unanimous Selection to Claim 28th Straight CAC Women's Swimming Crown

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Mary Washington was once again the unanimous choice among conference head coaches to claim the CAC title in the 2017-18 CAC Women's Swimming Preseason Poll. The Eagles enter the campaign with a 27-year winning streak atop the conference, and are the only team across all CAC sports to have won the team title in each of the 27 years of the CAC’s existence.

The Eagles secured five first-place votes and 25 points to land atop the poll, while York received the other first-place vote and finished second in the poll with 21 points. Salisbury (13 points) was projected to place third, followed Marymount (11 points) in fourth and Frostburg State (10 points) and St. Mary's (10 points) in a tie for fifth.
