Mary Washington senior Megan Murphy collected CAC Athlete of the Week accolades for the third time this year after leading the Eagles to a 150-112 win over Gettysburg on Saturday. Murphy won the 200 yard butterfly at 2:09.90, and then won the 200 IM at 2:12.05 after competing on the winning 200 yard medley relay.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Frostburg State swept both Bethany (99-18) and Salem (106-9) last week. Junior Maddie Weinberger posted two first-place finishes in the 50 and 100-meter breaststrokes with times of 35.84 and 1:19.56, respectively. She also helped the 200-meter medley relay team to a win (2:12.95) and helped the 400-meter freestyle relay team to a win in a school record 4:21.80 ... Marymount sophomore Hayley Elizondo took first in both races she raced in individually, the 100 breaststroke (1:08.88) and the 100 IM (1:01.98). Her 100 IM time is the top time in the CAC. She has now raced in 17 individual events this season, with 13 of them being top finishes and two program records ... York sophomore Adrianna Ayala led the Spartans to their eighth win of the year in Saturday's victory at Marymount. Ayala posted a pair of individual victories in the day as she won the 50 and 100 freestyle for the Spartans. She earned her victory in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.98 while her win in the 100 freestyle came in a time of 54.95. Ayala also led off the winning 400 free relay team as the Spartans combined to post a time of 3:46.62.
