Frostburg State freshman MEGAN CROWL (Hagerstown, Md./Clear Spring) was named CAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after posting an undefeated record in singles and doubles for the week Crowl went 3-0 in singles and doubles, including a regular-season win at Hood that gave FSU the No. 5 seed in the CAC Tournament, and Saturday at York in helping the Bobcats advance to the semifinals with a win over fourth-seeded York.

Iosue partnered with Katie Youlios for shutout wins at No. 2 doubles, then posted straight-sets victories vs. the Bobcats and Mustangs at No. 2 singles.

Mary Washington senior MICHELLE MEADOWS (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) was named CAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after battling from behind to pick up a key win at No. 2 singles in UMW’s annual showdown against Salisbury. Meadows dropped the first set to SU’s Elaina Iosou, then rebounded for a 7-6 (7-1) victory in the second set and a 10-5 tiebreaker to clinch the team point.

Mary Washington sophomore LINDSAY RAULSTON was named CAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after wins in all three team matches last week against nationally-ranked opponents. Raulston, who plays the No. 1 position for the 22nd-ranked Eagles, won in straight sets against 19th-ranked Wellesley, 15th-ranked University of the South and needed a tiebreaker to gain UMW’s lone point against 5th-ranked Carnegie Mellon. For the season, Raulston boasts a 13-1 singles record.

Stumpfig also boasts a 5-1 doubles record. She is riding a six-match singles win streak, helping the Seahawks to a 6-2 overall team record.
