Mary Washington's Lindsay Raulston Earns Third Straight NCAA Women's Tennis Singles Championship Bid; Tandem of Raulston and Shelby Harris Selected For Doubles Draw

The Mary Washington women's tennis No. 1 doubles duo of Lindsay Raulston and Shelby Harris have been selected to compete in the 2014 NCAA Women's Tennis Championships, while Raulston also received a championship singles bid for the third straight season. 

Raulston and Harris rolled to a 20-6 doubles mark this spring, including a perfect 5-0 record in CAC play, helping the Eagles to the CAC title. 

In singles play, Raulston went 17-7 at the No. 1 position for UMW. A two-time All-American and three-time CAC Player of the Year, Raulston is making her third straight appearance in the singles championship. She advanced to the round of 16 last year. 

The individual championships shall consist of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. The selection of teams and individuals for the championships are based on win-lost record, strength of schedule, and eligibility and availability of student-athletes.

The team championship will take place May 19-21 and the individual championships May 22-24, both at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California and will be hosted by Claremont-M-S.
