On the final day of the CAC regular season, York defeated Frostburg State 8-1 in the lone women's tennis matchup of the day. The Spartans posted wins over Penn State Harrisburg and Frostburg State on back-to-back days to lock up the No. 4 seed in the upcoming CAC Tournament. 

In a battle for the No. 2 seed on Tuesday, Christopher Newport defeated Salisbury 8-1 to earn the right to host a semifinal rematch vs. the Sea Gulls next Wednesday. 

The six-team CAC Tournament field and matchups are now set, beginning with No. 4 York (8-5, 4-3 CAC) hosting No. 5 St. Mary's (7-8, 3-4 CAC) on Saturday in York, Pa. 

The York/St. Mary's winner will take on top-seeded Mary Washington (17-5, 7-0 CAC) in next Wednesday's semifinals. No. 2 CNU (12-5, 6-1 CAC) will host No. 3 Salisbury (9-6, 5-2 CAC) in the other semifinal matchup.
