Mary Washington Women's Tennis Selected to Host NCAA Regional
CAC champion Mary Washington will host a six-team NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament Regional this weekend at the Battleground.
On Friday, Lebanon Valley will face North Carolina Wesleyan, and Washington & Lee will face Franciscan. The winner of the LVC/NCWC match will face Amherst on Saturday, while UMW will face the winner of the W&L/Franciscan match. Those two winners will meet on Sunday, with the winner advaning to the national quarterfinals.
UMW earned the CAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament with a 5-1 triumph over Christopher Newport last Saturday.
