UMW Women's Tennis to Host Opening Rounds of NCAA Tournament This Weekend

The University of Mary Washington women's tennis team will play host to the first three rounds of the NCAA Division III Tournament this weekend at the Battleground.

The Eagles will open play in first round action on Friday, as they host Franciscan University at 4:00 p.m. Other matches Friday will include The College of New Jersey taking on Wilkes at 10:00 a.m., and Johns Hopkins facing Grove City at 1 p.m.

Saturday's second round matches will be between Amherst and the winner of the TCNJ/Wilkes match at 10 a.m., followed by the winners of the Johns Hopkins/Grove City and UMW/Franciscan matches at 1 p.m. Sunday's third round will start at 2 p.m.

UMW Men's Tennis to Travel to Amherst, Mass. for NCAA Tournament This Weekend

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team will travel to Amherst, Mass. this weekend for the opening rounds of the NCAA Division III Championships.

The Eagles will compete in second round action against the winner of Friday's match in Amherst between Stevens and UMASS-Boston on Saturday at a time to be announced. The third round, featuring Saturday's winners, will be contested on Sunday.
