2007 Capital Athletic Conference Women's Track & Field All-Conference Team
The 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) women's track & field all-conference teams were released today by the conference office. To be eligible for first or second team recognition, an individual or relay team must have finished first or second at the conference championship meet.
Salisbury freshman Victoria Lawson was chosen as the Rookie of the Year by the conference coaches while Mary Washington junior Carly Hambley was chosen as the Athlete of the Year. After leading his team to their 14th consecutive conference championship, head coach Stan Soper of Mary Washington was chosen by his peers as the 2007 CAC Women's Track & Field Coach of the Year.
