Mary Washington Captures 14th Consecutive CAC Women's Track & Field Championship 

The University of Mary Washington captured their 14th consecutive Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) women's track & field championship on Saturday. The Eagles compiled 200 total points, which was four better than Salisbury's 196 total points. Junior Carly Hambley helped lead Mary Washington to the victory by winning the triple jump (34 feet, two inches) and the 400 hurdles (1:06.74). Other winners included Megan Linn in the discus (120 feet, five inches), Jen Garrott in the pole vault (10 feet, seven inches), Mae Winchester in the 100 hurdles (16.18), and Ann Tripp in the 5000 meters (18:40.23).
