Salisbury sophomore Katie Stouffer was named the CAC Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Sea Gulls to a perfect 4-0 record at their opener tournament last weekend. Stouffer posted a career day on day two of the tournament, recording 31 kills in a 3-2 victory over Swarthmore, before topping that performance with 32 kills in a 3-2 triumph over Clark (Mass.). Those performances rank second and third all-time in Salisbury program history for kills in a match. She finished the weekend with 4.88 kills per set and a .364 hitting percentage while adding 15 digs and seven blocks.

Sophomore Briana Sutton was named the MVP of the Captains Classic after leading host Christopher Newport to a 4-0 record. Mary Washington freshman Dani Fiore was named MVP of the DeSales Invitational, leading UMW to a 4-0 mark and the title ...
