Wesley Names Lindsay Miller as New Volleyball Head Coach

After a nationwide search, Wesley College Executive Director of Athletics Mike Drass named Lindsay Miller the Wolverines head volleyball coach on Tuesday afternoon. 

"Coach Miller brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game to our volleyball program," said Drass. "Her energy and enthusiasm made her our top candidate."

Miller joins the Wesley College athletics family after a decorated volleyball career in Delaware. The Newcastle native, comes to Wesley from St. George's Technical High School, but possesses playing and coaching experience on the collegiate level as well. 

Miller played at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Wilmington University volleyball team from 2001-2005. She was a three-time All-Conference selection and led the Wildcats to a 65-0 record against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foes. 

After her playing career, Miller joined the Lehigh University coaching staff as a volunteer assistant at the NCAA Division I level. She gained experience under the Mountain Hawks' coaching staff before returning to Delaware to coach at the high school ranks.

In five years at the helm at St. George's Tech, Miller led the Hawks to three undefeated runs through Flight B going 23-0 against conference foes in that span, and three state championship berths. She also served as the head coach of the Delaware Juniors Volleyball Club from 2011-2013.
