Seven from CAC Earn AVCA Volleyball All-Region Accolades
Seven CAC volleyball players were selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-North-Region team, announced Thursday. The seven honorees included four first-team selections and three honorable mention picks.
CAC champion Christopher Newport led the way with three first-team honorees - Rachel Conway, Hannah Miller and Briana Sutton. CAC runner-up Salisbury's Katie Stouffer also claimed first-team accolades.
Landing on the honorable mention squad were Frostburg State's Naya Cheatem, St. Mary's Mandy Goodspeed and Mary Washington's Emma Olson grabbed honorable mention recognition.
