No. 16 Mary Washington, Marymount, and St. Mary's each rolled to 2-0 CAC volleyball weekends on Friday and Saturday, with Mary Washington and Marymount each remaining unbeaten in conference action with a pair of wins. Marymount head coach Beth Ann Wilson became the winningest coach in CAC history on Friday, while No. 13 Christopher Newport fell for the first time in conference action since joining the CAC in 2013. 

• No. 16 Mary Washington defeated Wesley 3-0 on Friday and Salisbury 3-0 on Saturday to improve to 20-1 overall and 4-0 in CAC action. The Eagles have now won 13 straight matches. The Eagles' 20-1 record marks the second time in program history that the Eagles have reached that plateau, matching the start of the 1991 team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament en route to a 31-3 season. Freshman Savannah Powers led the way for the Eagles on Friday and Saturday, scoring 11 and 14 kills, respectively, while senior Emma Olson had 39 assists and 11 digs, and 37 assists and seven digs, respectively. 
• Marymount head coach Beth Ann Wilson became the CAC coaching leader in career wins with number 406 and 407 on Friday and Saturday, as the Saints topped Penn State Harrisburg 3-0 and York 3-1. Wilson surpassed former Salisbury coach Margie Knight, who totaled 405 overall wins throughout her tenure. The Saints were well-balanced on attack in both wins, led by senior Cailyn Thomas (7 kills) on Friday and senior Emileigh Rettig (13 kills) on Saturday. Theresa Buscemi paced the defense with 11 digs and 17 digs, respectively. 
• St. Mary's (16-7, 2-1) registered a 3-0 weekend with CAC victories over York (3-1) and Penn State Harrisburg (3-0), and a 3-0 sweep of Bridgewater (Va.) in a Saturday tri-match with Penn State Harrisburg. Alli Graf and Meghan Kelley paced the Seahawks' attack in the two CAC matches. On Friday, Graf notched 21 kills, 17 digs, and four aces, while Kelley tallied 12 kills and a career-high three block assists. On Saturday, Graf totaled 16 kills and nine digs while Kelley again notched 12 kills. 
• On Friday, Salisbury defeated No. 13 Christopher Newport 3-1, snapping the Captains impressive conference winning streak. Over the past decade, the Captains had won 138 consecutive regular season league matches dating back to 2006. That run ranked as the fifth-longest streak in the history of collegiate volleyball and the third-longest active roll, trailing only Juniata (361 straight) and Wheeling Jesuit (148). Entering Friday, CNU had won 29 consecutive CAC bouts since 2013 after ripping off 109 straight league matches to wrap up their time in the USA South.
• Also on Friday, Southern Virginia picked up its first CAC win with a 3-1 home triumph over Frostburg State. The Knights were led by 19 kills from Penny Gwynn and 13 kills and three service aces from Hannah Allred.
