Mary Washington, Christopher Newport and Salisbury each posted 3-0 sweeps while York outlasted Frostburg State in a five-set thriller to advance to the CAC Volleyball Tournament semifinals Tuesday night. 

Top-seeded Mary Washington blanked eighth-seeded St. Mary's, second-seeded Christopher Newport swept past seventh-seeded Penn State Harrisburg, third-seeded York held off sixth-seeded Frostburg State 3-2, and fifth-seeded Salisbury posted the lone road win of the night with a 3-0 triumph at fourth-seeded Southern Virginia. 

With the victories, the CAC semifinals are now set to take place in Fredericksburg and Newport News. UMW will welcome Salisbury to the Anderson Center for a 7 p.m. start on Thursday, while York visits CNU, also set for 7 p.m. start.
