2018 CAC Vollleyball Tournament Bracket

Christopher Newport and Mary Washington will meet in the CAC volleyball championship for the third year in a row after both posted thrilling five-set come-from-behind victories in the CAC semifinals on Thursday night. The top-seeded Eagles downed fifth-seeded Salisbury 3-2, while the second-seeded Captains topped third-seeded York 3-2. 

UMW (19-10) will host CNU (24-5) in the championship match at 5 p.m. on Saturday in Fredericksburg, Va. The Eagles and Captains have traded championship wins in each of the last two seasons, with UMW winning in 2016 and CNU returning the favor in 2017. 

In Thursday's semifinals, CNU downed York 3-2 (25-18, 16-25, 19-25, 25-14, 17-15) in a tight back-and-forth affair to claim its sixth consecutive trip to the CAC title round. 

UMW defeated Salisbury in another back-and-forth battle, coming out on top 3-2 (25-27, 25-23, 22-25, 26-24, 15-6) to earn its third straight CAC title match appearance.
