The 2019 CAC Volleyball Tournament Championship matchup is finalized and will feature #1 Christopher Newport hosting #2 Mary Washington for the fourth consecutive year on Saturday, Nov. 9th at 2 p.m. in Newport News. CNU will look for its third straight league title and sixth overall, while UMW prepares for its third conference crown and first since 2016.

Top seed Christopher Newport swept #4 Southern Virginia behind an 11-kill effort from Katie Crofford and 31 assists from CAC Player of the Year Sammy Carroll. Kayleigh Reagan-Smith anchored the defense with 13 digs in the win.

 Second seed Mary Washington hit .255 for the contest en route to a 3-0 sweep over #3 Salisbury. Savannah Powers led the Eagles with 12 kills, while Kendal Hall posted 21 digs in the victory.
