Christopher Newport Selected to Host NCAA Volleyball Regional; Face Stevenson in First Round

CAC tournament champion Christopher Newport has been selected to host an eight-team NCAA Volleyball Regional beginning Friday (Nov. 15) in Newport News. This marks CNU's 13th straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
CNU (25-5), which earned the conference's automatic bid with a 3-1 triumph over Mary Washington on Saturday, will take on Stevenson (29-2) in Friday's first round. Other first-round matchups in the regional include Trinity (TX) (33-4) vs. Hunter (15-17), Juniata (22-8) vs. Virginia Wesleyan (28-7) and Randolph-Macon (25-8) facing Marymount (Va.) (24-10).
