Three C2C Volleyball Teams Selected to NCAA Regionals

Three Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) volleyball programs were selected for the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship which begins Thursday (Nov. 16).

Salisbury, which earned the conference's automatic bid with a five-set victory over Mary Washington on Saturday (Nov. 11), faces Williams to open the regional hosted by MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Christopher Newport earned an at-large berth and plays Ramapo in the first round of the Johns Hopkins regional in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mary Washington clinched a spot and a match-up with Hunter on Thursday regional hosted by Juniata in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

Regional competition will be Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 16-18, at all sites.

The championship field consists of 64 teams in a single-elimination tournament. 42 of these spots will be awarded to automatic qualifiers that won their conference, while the remaining 22 spots will be given to at-large teams chosen by the NCAA Selection Committee.

The championship will be held Nov. 29-Dec. 2 at Roberts Pavilion in Claremont, California, with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps serving as host.
