Garrison led the Captains to a perfect 5-0 record during the week with averages of 2.13 kills, 1.19 blocks, 0.50 service aces and 0.50 digs per set. On the defensive side, the junior notched 19 blocks, including nine against St. Mary's on Friday. Meanwhile, on the offensive side, she pumped three aces during both ends of Friday's doubleheader against St. Mary's and Marymount. The three aces marked her most in a match since her freshman year. Additionally, she led CNU with a .342 hitting percentage during the week, including 11 kills against Bridgewater on Tuesday. She also clubbed nine kills on only 16 swings during the squad's sweep over Marymount on Friday.

Smothers averaged 4.0 digs per set in a 1-2 week for the Bobcats. 

Leslie Walters | Mary Washington | Sr. | OH
Walters surpassed 1,000 career kills this week, as Mary Washington topped Catholic on Wednesday and York on Saturday to move to 3-0 in Capital Athletic Conference play. She scored six kills against the Cardinals, and added five kills and five solo blocks against York, and made just three attack errors in the two matches.

Chanel Lucas | St. Mary's | Fr. | OH
Lucas averaged 3.22 kills per set in a 1-3 week for St. Mary's, hitting double-digit kills in all four matches. Lucas finished the week with a season-best 18 kills in a five-set loss to Randolph. She started the week with 16 kills and a season-high seven digs in a five-set road win over Notre Dame (Md.) before adding a season-best five block assists in a four-set loss at No. 24 Christopher Newport.

Nicole Venturelli | Salisbury | Sr. | OH
Venturelli helped the Sea Gulls to a 1-0 record this past week as Salisbury rallied back from a 0-2 deficit to down Swarthmore College 3-2. Venturelli totaled a team-high 12 kills in the win while posting a 2.40 kills per set mark. She also aided on the defensive side as she tallied seven digs while also adding in one block.

Whitcomb averaged 2.38 kills per set while hitting .378% and totaling eight blocks in a 1-1 week for the Spartans.
