Hood senior DANIELLE SGRO (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) was selected as the CAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. She was the first CAC runner across the finish line at the Hood Invitational, placing third overall and covering the 5K distance in 20:34.27.

Mary Washington Soph. HAYLEY SULLIVAN (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) was selected as the CAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this season after finishing 11th overall at the Gettysburg Invitational. Sullivan was the top CAC finisher in a meet that included many of the strongest teams in the region, crossing the finish line in 23:20 and leading the Eagles to ninth place in the team standings.

Salisbury senior JENN BULGER (Verona, N.J./Verona) was selected as the CAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after finishing sixth out of 145 runners in the DeSales Invitational. Bulger wins the weekly award for the first time this season after leading Salisbury to second place in the team standings, crossing the finish line in 24:12.

Mary Washington sophomore HAYLEY SULLIVAN (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) was selected as the CAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season after finishing 18th overall, and the first Division III runner across the finish line, at the George Mason Invitational.

Mary Washington sophomore HAYLEY SULLIVAN (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) was selected as the CAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after winning the individual title at the annual Don Cathcart Invitational at Salisbury University. Sullivan covered the 5,920-meter course in 21:36, helping the Eagles claim third place in the team standings.

York junior MELODY PARSHALL (Dover, Pa./Homeschooled) was selected as the Sept. 23 CAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week Award after finishing fourth overall, and leading York to second place, in the annual York Invitational at John Rudy Park. Parshall, who has been YCP’s top runner this year, covered the distance in 20:39.11 and was the first CAC runner across the finish line.
