Lannen kicked off the 2018 season with a victory in the 4k during the Mary Washington Opener on Friday. During the race, she posted a time of 15:11.6, which topped the next closest competitor by over 15 seconds. Guided by those efforts, Christopher Newport eventually secured the team title with a score of 28.

At the ninth annual Galen Piper/XC Challenge Friday night at Shippensburg, junior Sarah McCurry finished in 56th place in 17:29.9.

Emily Knerr | Mary Washington | Jr. 
Knerr led Mary Washington with a third place finish at the UMW Opener on Friday, crossing the line at 15:35.3, just ahead of teammate Kenzie Lloyd. The Eagles took second place in the team standings.

Taylor finished ninth overall at the Salisbury Fall Classic with a time of 24:00.90, which was the highest any Seahawk has ever placed at that meet. 

Catie Cambon | Salisbury | Fr.
Cambon made the most of her first collegiate race, taking second place individually and leading Salisbury to the team title at the Salisbury Fall Classic on Saturday. Cambon ran the 6,000-meter course in 23:31 on a hot and humid morning, just three seconds behind Rowan senior Hannah Vendetta who won the race.

Barkdoll had a strong collegiate debut as she was York's top finisher at the 9th Annual Galen Piper Invitational at Shippensburg. Barkdoll finished 20th in the race with a time of 16:24.6.
